Sector Challenges and Activity
A normal environment within this sector is mostly deemed challenging elsewhere because of the often remote land or maritime operating locations. In all engineering work therefore not only must the purpose of the equipment be considered, but from an early stage the logistical factors also need to be considered, so that the movement, storage and then use of any equipment is all possible.
In this regard, rolatubes can be a valuable tool, as our technology is very logistically simple and therefore offers a very cost-effective method of engineering below the surface of our planet. Whether underground or underwater, providing utilities to home and business or services to deep-sea exploratory undertakings, our ability to provide simple, reliable and above all compact solutions can simplify and improve performance.
Because of their unique structure, it is simple to incorporate cables, optical fibres and many other items into the material of the rolatube at the time of manufacture, to any intended length. Similarly robotic arms can become their own umbilical cable, optical fibres can carry data and monitor the environment around the rolatube, all with no additional installation and without any of the problems associated with handling reels of cables and fibre optics in hostile environments.
Incorporating other design specifications allows variable lengths, manufacturing to be cased around or enclosed within metal pipes, closed or open and all with very low maintenance properties.
